The new Volkswagen T-Roc's world premiere took place in Portugal. This model is built on innovation, excellence, and the dedication of the Volkswagen Autoeuropa teams.

This milestone follows the signing of a joint declaration between the Portuguese State, represented by AICEP, and Volkswagen for a €270 million investment, including up to €30 million in incentives under PT2030, to decarbonise the Autoeuropa plant and align production with EU climate goals.

The President of the Republic, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, the Minister of Economy and Territorial Cohesion, Manuel Castro Almeida, and the President of AICEP, Madalena Oliveira e Silva, alongside Volkswagen representatives, attended the ceremony, underlining Portugal's commitment to sustainable industrial development.

With this step, Portugal strengthens its role as a strategic hub for the automotive industry, combining global competitiveness with climate neutrality.
