The Chinese economy has been growing by 7-8% annually.

Being the most populous country in the world, China now has an above average middle class development and growth. This exponential increase translates into greater purchasing power for goods and services with western character.

Being the world's largest exporter, China also becomes the third largest importer of goods, and has positioned itself recently in 10th place in the ranking of destinations for Portuguese exports. With a view to better understanding of this market, the Chamber of Commerce organizes, from 1 to May 7, a Trade Mission to China.
