The investment project in the container terminal at Barreiro has ceased to be a priority of this government, at least for the current year.

Between the first version of the State Budget (OE) for 2016 and the version approved in general in the Parliament, the reference to investment in this infrastructure has been removed and replaced by the need for greater coordination between the ports of Lisbon and Setúbal.
